Real body after Baby

I truly enjoyed reading this article and wanted to share it.
Bravo to this new mother, she looks great!

Gisele, left, and reader Kristin, both exactly 102 days post-birth. Hello, perspective. (And hi, babies!)

No one’s begrudging Gisele her genes. But the picture makes you wonder: What does your average nonsupermodel look like 15 weeks postpartum? To give you an idea, Kristin Ford, 32, a social-media consultant from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, let Glamour photograph her and son Parker at the same number of days postpartum as Gisele and Vivian. Ford looks great—but she expected better: “I had this idea that my body would bounce back after pregnancy,” she says. “I’m still waiting. I’m bigger everywhere—even in my knees!"
So how do Hollywood moms do it? With the best trainers money can buy—plus the threat of losing out on work. “Celebrities experience a scary amount of pressure to drop the pounds,” says trainer Ramona Braganza. “Their careers depend on it.” Jessica Alba was in a swimsuit for a Campari ad not long after she had her first baby. “She did light weights two weeks postpartum and intervals on the treadmill by week five,” Braganza says. Minimal downtime is the norm: “I trained Meg Ryan the morning she went into the hospital,” says trainer Kathy Kaehler, who adds that she was at Julia Roberts’ door five weeks after the actress delivered twins (twins!). Doesn't exactly make you want to switch places with the stars, right?
Bottom Line: Cut yourself some slack if you’ve got a newborn: Your body just, y’know, made another body. Focus on getting gentle exercise and lots of protein, calcium, and vitamin D (to help rebuild muscle and bone)—not on losing weight, says New York City cardiologist Holly Andersen, M.D. Ford's take: "If I'm choosing between a workout and time with Parker, Parker wins. Who cares if I can't get my old pants over my thighs?"

Before and After

As some of you might know I had a baby 20 months ago.
As much as I love my son, carrying him really took a toll on my body and self esteem.
I went from being 5 foot tall and 115 pounds to (still 5 foot tall)  pushing the scale at almost 200 pounds when he was born. When he was born he was 9 pounds and 21 inches long.

Needless to say I am doing this post for me. I am having one of those days where I am not feeling like my normal hot mom self. (which I know we all have those days) UGH >.<

That's me on the right looking like like I have a fat suit on :)

And this is me today.
Still need to drop 14 pounds to be back to my pre baby weight.

And let me just tell you these last 14 pounds are the hardest to come off.
No matter they will come off regardless.

So Mom's out there..
Just remember you are beautiful even when you are feeling like you are not.
